Kate Beckinsale dressed in black PVC fighting werewolves (and vampires) to a beat infused soundtrack. What's not to like?
Comparisons to the "Blade" series may be inevitable but for my money Kate in leather is easily a nicer sight than Wesley Snipes in a similar get up. The plot focuses on an ancient war between Vamps and Lycans - and one that's about to get a whole lot worse when human medical student Michael Corvin (Scott Speedman) is kidnapped by the hairy ones with a diabolical purpose in mind. So it's up to the gorgeous Selena (Kate) to resurrect the most powerful and dangerous vampire Ever (Bill Nighy) to win the fight. Que lots of blood-soaked fight scenes, gorgeous visuals, and slow motion acrobatic kick ass moves. Plenty to get your teeth into then. Fang you very much. Ahem.
